BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. Born and reared in Los Angeles, Melodi’s parents instilled in her the belief that all humanity is deserving of social and economic independence. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, her career path took her to the City of Santa Monica where she worked for more than two decades as an administrative analyst, however, she has always had a desire to serve the less fortunate. In 2018, Melodi traveled to Rwanda to work with another non-profit organization, the OmniPeace Foundation. There she met Carol Levy, and accompanied her to observe firsthand the economic initiatives Pilot Light Foundation is creating to achieve sustainability, and economic independence in Central Africa.
